Hello, my name is Ava Sobieszek.

My love for flowers started when I was a little girl- when I would go to the corner flower shop with my mother. I fell in love with all the colors, smells and textures. When I was a teenager, my family moved from Europe to Boston. On my way home one day, I passed by the biggest and greatest outdoor flower stand. Soon I started a job there and have been working with flowers ever since

Graduated from The Cass School of Floral Design in July 1998. I then worked at Stapleton Floral in South Boston, MA. For years, I ran a flower and produce stand on the corner of Milk & Washington St. at front of Old South Meeting House. I worked for a local flower shop for over 4 years.

Over a decade later I now run multiple floral companies as well as event-planning for weddings, anniversaries, corporate events and more.

I have been working with flowers for such a long time, but to this day, when a shipment of fresh stock comes in for a wedding, I light up with excitement. There is something about the natural, raw beauty of fresh flowers-they’re art waiting to happen! It is such a gift to be able to take all those beautiful flowers and enhance somebody’s life with long-lasting memories. I just love it…
