Corsages and Boutonnieres

A corsage is small bouquet of flowers worn on a woman's dress or around her wrist for a formal occasion in the United States. Traditionally, they are given to her by her date. Corsages are worn at weddings, homecomings and proms. In modern weddings it is common for men in the wedding to also wear a corsage - known as a boutonniere, in support of the celebration, near his heart on his shirt, suit or tuxedo.
