Cancellation Policy
Event Rental Terms & Conditions A Flower Box - Event Specialist 1. Rental Agreement By renting equipment from A Flower Box - Event Specialist, the Customer agrees to abide by these terms. Rental equipment remains the property of A Flower Box and must not be subleased or assigned to third parties. 2. Reservations & Payments A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure rentals. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event. We accept cash, credit/debit cards (with a 3% processing fee), and checks (not accepted within 7 days of the event). 3. Delivery & Pickup Delivery fees are based on location and accessibility. Additional charges apply for difficult access (stairs, elevators, long distances). Customer must ensure the site is ready for setup (clear of debris, properly marked for underground utilities). If equipment is left unattended at the Customer's request, the Customer assumes responsibility for loss or damage. 4. Equipment Use & Care Rented items must be returned in the same condition as received, with normal wear and tear expected. The Customer is liable for any damages, loss, or theft during the rental period, including damage from weather or misuse. Glassware, china, and flatware must be rinsed and free of food debris before return. Linens should be dry and free of debris. Wax stains, burns, or ink marks will require full replacement at the Customer’s expense. 5. Tents & Inclement Weather Tents are temporary structures and are not safe during severe weather. Cooking is not allowed within 20 feet of tents to prevent fire and damage. A Flower Box reserves the right to cancel or refuse setup due to hazardous weather conditions. 6. Damage Waiver A 10% non-refundable Damage Waiver is applied to all rental orders. This covers accidental damage from natural causes (e.g., wind, fire). It does not cover negligence, theft, or vandalism. 7. Cancellations & Changes Cancellations result in forfeiture of all payments. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. 8. Liability & Indemnification The Customer assumes full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from rental equipment. A Flower Box is not liable for damages to Customer property due to normal use of rental equipment. 9. Late Returns A daily rental fee applies to any items not returned on time. 10. Governing Law This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
